That Model Composure

Unwrapped like a present it's the after thought that counts, but I'll take what I can get because you're special like a model. The air makes us shiver, making us want to stay warm forever, but we'll settle for tonight.

In the morning you look like an angel and I feel like a ghost, the white spirit you used to cover up the brush strokes. You said it yourself-I'm like a fresh coffee smell but eventually bad for your health.

But you're the love of the morning, a straylight beam, you make me feel better in the damp heavy rain, that falls and falls until it hurts like a lost promise ring.

A delicate embrace with arms as wide as the seashore, I tell you a line that could possibly make it as a greeting card. My hearts like wax that melts through your hands to the floor, I'm sure that this is worth it.

Please unpack me like a present, who counts thoughts anyway? I'll take what I can get because you're gorgeous like the models.
