You Can Call This Closure

It's autumn and I'm up late in my room, playing these songs that remind me of you, well I was hoping you'd call but that's optimistic, I should have seen this coming when you became logistical.
Impatiently pacing, the breeze is unfriendly, the trees are affluent; seeing red feels so familiar! Why don't you hide behind what you find simple, let's act as if your intent makes you believable.

See me here standing alone as you carve out my silhouette with looks you used to kill! Those pretty daggers, that seem so harmless until you turn me around.

Throw me a line that makes yourself feel better, keeps me at arms length, where I'm at your leisure. "I don't want to hurt you..." was said with sincerity, but "If I do, I'm sorry, it's meant to be".

See me here standing alone as you carve out my silhouette with looks you used to kill! Those pretty daggers, that seem so harmless until you turn me around.

You can call this closure and I'll take my words back!
You can call this closure, I'm betting that you'd like that!
