Prarie Roote Run Deep

We hear the solemn sigh of the endless prarie skyline as our jaded eyes dilate to new possibities... well I hope heaven nurses us back to health again, heaven nurses us back to health...this way I recall, we used to slouch in sunken chairs while the t.v taught us "how to" love with grace and confidence the evening was filled with laughter silhouettes in a dim lit room "in our hearts" we prayed for faith, just like we had when we were kids "boy we were so invincible" but now the clock ticks like a time bomb and nothing hurts as bad as growing old.

We hear the solemn sigh of the endless prarie skyline, as our jaded eyes dilate to new possibilities... and I hope heaven nurses us back to health again, heaven nurses us back to health...this way now we punctuate our dialogue and fold ourselves into an envelope we sing ourselves to sleep and wake up on separate islands (lalala)
