I See Skeletons Weaving In And Out Of Trees ( I Think They're Playing Hide And Seek)

Another lie to save...another lie to save face. Well, I think I got away...I think I got away with it this time.

I'm collecting failures like they're pennies in a jar and bouncing them off concrete like bodies onto cars, just to see how far they'll go and to hear the sound of change, I'm spinning like a silver piece and heading for the drain.
Well the moon went to sleep before we ever did, we used to walk like giants but we were still kids and we'd pass out like sailors on the living room floor, with the birds in the background singing at dawn.

Another lie to save us from being singled out. We are transparent like airwaves, sending signals out. I'm lighting matches because I like the sound but I'll wrap myself in your coat; it should save me for now.

Sitting in a car park, writing everything down on paper that rejects every thought about how I miss my friends and how I miss our youth and I'm pretty sure I'd die if it wasn't for you. You burn away the venom and kiss me like a cure, you put me back together and make me something more.
You awake like a flower and I feel like the sun, warming your bones as I watch you go (As I watch you go.)

Another lie to save us from being singled out. We are transparent like airwaves, sending signals out. I'm lighting matches because I like the sound but I'll wrap myself in your coat; it should save me for now.

Send the signals out...save me for now.
